The current approach to career guidance often feels fragmented. People struggle to identify their natural talents and find clear paths that align with their skills and interests. This leads to confusion and difficulty making wise career decisions. We need a system that empowers users by offering self-discovery tools, exploration of diverse career options, and guidance on developing relevant skills. This will equip them to make informed choices and navigate their professional journeys with confidence.

User research and competitive analysis
To ensure the Make-It app meets user needs, we conducted the, User Interviews: Over two weeks, we interviewed 6 participants from our target audience. These sessions provided crucial insights that shaped our design decisions.
Competitive Analysis: We compared our proposed features to existing career guidance platforms. This analysis helped us identify industry standards and potential areas for differentiation.
User Personas
User research (interviews & surveys) led to detailed personas representing user segments and their career guidance needs. Continuously refining these personas ensured a user-centered design that addressed core user needs.
Persona Development
The data gathered was translated into user personas – detailed profiles representing distinct user segments with specific goals and challenges. These personas, continuously refined throughout the project, served as a constant reminder of the user at the center of the design process
